Leah Lakins is a new york times bestselling editor, writer, ghostwriter, and the Founder of Fresh Eyes Editorial Services.

I am an editor, writer, ghostwriter, and independent publisher who has worked on more than 100 books including The New York Times bestsellers, "Act Like a Success" and "Jump" with Steve Harvey and "We Over Me" with Devale and Khadeen Ellis. I specialize in writing books for and about noted African American celebrities, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders in the areas of self-help, inspiration, empowerment, and entrepreneurship.

When I decided to open Fresh Eyes Editorial Services, I chose to specialize in books because so many writers don't have a clue of where to begin in the journey of becoming a published author. Since officially opening my doors, I have helped more than 100 authors through every stage of the publishing process from developing original book proposals, ghostwriting, co-writing, editing, copy editing, proofreading, design, and self-publishing.

Becoming a published author is often a huge dream for many people. I am passionate about helping every writer unlock their story and create books that change the way we think and live.
